The campfire sound has loud crickets
A lot of value here, great for the price.Unfortunately, all I wanted was a fireplace sound… the campfire sound has crickets that are louder than the fire, so this is a return for me.But otherwise very functional. Nice to have a battery option.

Hidden sounds?
Its small size is great, the volume is good. It’s simple to use, has a lot of sound options, although I really only wanted brown noise. So that is all I have used, and I’ve been using this sound machine for a few weeks, now. Not nightly, but maybe 3-4 nights out of the week. When I first started using it, I could have sworn I was hearing a rhythmic sound underneath the brown noise. It wasn’t super distracting, I do have adhd and picked up on the sound discrepancy quickly but it was so subtle I could tune it out. The past several nights, however, as I’m laying in bed, I think I hear voices. Last night, I had one earbud in listening to a podcast, doing a coloring app on my phone, and I start to hear voices/talking. A feminine voice and a masculine one. I thought it was my teenager’s television or a video on his phone, and I got up to go tell him to turn it down. When I got to his door I realized he was asleep and he didn’t have his TV on or phone playing videos or music. So I went back to my room and listened for a minute and still heard what sounded like faint voices in conversation. I turned off the sound machine and the voices stopped. I turned it back on, held it to my ear, and listened. There is definitely a sporadic beep or other tone underneath the brown noise. Perhaps not voices, but at a distance, it sounds strange once you’ve picked up on the underlying sounds. I turned it off and will not be using it again. Sometimes, buying the cheapest option isn’t always the best choice.

Nice compact white noise generator
Compact white noise generator with 29 various sounds. and three timers. The volume is a good level and the control is east to set. Power, time and program switching is easy with the 4 buttons while the volume is an analog knob. The sounds are deep and rich. You will be satisfied with this device and sound quality.

I have a very difficult time falling asleep without some sort of stimulus. It used to be tv, then podcasts but im really working on better sleep habits and even though my alarm clock has a sleep countdown white nose thing, THIS little machine is THE ONE.Firstly, the battery lasts FOREVER between charges. The dial is such an easy way to adjust the sound without needing to navigate specific buttons. There are 3 different timer functions and it fades out when it’s done.There are sooo many sound combination but I’ve become obsessed with the pink noise and I havent changed it since. Its so small and doesn’t take up a ton of real estate on my nightstand. And it’s so lightweight if I needed to take it to travel its would be easy to pack and go.This would also be a great gift for somebody with children but I just love it for myself.

I picked this unit up to help manage noise levels at night and it offers very good value for the price. The speaker is surprisingly capable and gets loud enough to easily drown out the sound of street traffic outside the window. One of the best features is that it is battery powered so I can place it anywhere in the room without worrying about finding a spare outlet. The timer function is also very practical for sleep routines as it shuts off automatically once you are out.The sound selection is a bit of a mixed bag. The campfire sound is excellent and actually feels warm and relaxing. However, you might want to audition the other sounds before leaving them on for the night. Some of the nature clips are low quality and a few are honestly a little creepy. The melodic tracks are pleasant enough but the loop point is very obvious. It cuts off and restarts too quickly which can be more distracting than relaxing if you are paying attention.It would have been a much more versatile device if it included a line-in or Bluetooth connectivity. I try to avoid having single-use gadgets cluttering up the house and being able to use this as a regular speaker would have made it perfect.

This is such a great little machine. I love how it looks and how functional it is. Most of our family sleeps better with a fan or some kind of white noise, and this has been perfect for that. It’s great for home use, but I’m especially excited to bring it when we travel.During sports seasons we’re often staying in Airbnbs or hotels, and it’s amazing how much easier it is to hear hallway noise or other guests. That can make it really hard to get the kids settled. This machine is small and portable, but it gets surprisingly loud if you need it to, which makes a big difference in those situations.I’m used to sound machines with button volume controls, so one of my favorite features is actually the dial for volume instead. It’s simple and easy to adjust without clicking through levels. There are also several different sound options, which is nice if you want something other than just basic white noise or brown noise.Overall, it’s compact, easy to use, and does exactly what we need it to do.

Overall this is a nice little machine. Is my phone and tablet better, my opinion yes.Nice and compact build. Body size is small and doesn’t take up much space. Battery lasts quite some time.The speakers do create a surround sound effect but the big downfall is the sound quality is pretty bad. Especially compared to any white noise app on any newer device. It has a little tin canny sound. Not super realistic, And some of the sound choices are questionable. There is a dripping water track. That is torture to me.If for some reason you don’t have any other electronic device this is good. Otherwise get an app.

I’ve been using this white noise machine since I got it (usually at night but someone recommended to use it during quiet periods too) and it’s become such a nice part of my night routine. The sound selection is exactly as I’d expected from a machine like this (birds, storms, rain, that sort of thing), and they’re as natural as you’d think they would be from a machine. The white noise and fan options are steady, and the ambient tracks are soothing and don’t loop unnaturally, not that I’m even conscious of the loops since I’m fast asleep pretty quickly within minutes of turning it on. You won’t hear sharp highs or electronic hiss, even at higher volume levels.The battery life is really good. It was already somewhat charged when it came, but I charged it fully before use. Now I can use it for multiple nights before needing to recharge, and there’s no need to keep it connected to anything, which means I can bring it with me when traveling, too. The timer settings are awesome; if it takes you a long time to fall asleep, you can set it to well over an hour, but I find I just need the 30 minute timer.It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing machine, but I guess it goes with really anything (like an air purifier or a fan). It works so well and it’s simple to use and it just kind of disappears into any decor. Five stars all the way.
