I have been using this for many years. It has a nice consistency and a pleasant odor. In fact, I use many of their products. I am 77 years old and don’t look a day over 60:)

Retinol burn is a major bummer
I’m pretty sensitive to retinol and I play around with different products quite a bit. I was hoping this product would be the winning ticket, but it unfortunately isn’t. I definitely can’t use it daily or it’ll burn the skin around my eyes. When I do use it, I need to mix it with a regular moisturizer. I usually try and use it once or twice a week, but I’m not really sure how much benefit I’m getting out of using it like that. But I just can’t handle doing more. It seriously burns my skin…like a sunburn! I always apply aloe for a few days after using it too. But geez, I might need to give it up. The dry burned skin is only accentuating my wrinkles! 🙁

It’s a shame this didn’t work for me because it is a thicker, luxurious feeling cream. I used this 3 days before I had to stop because of the burning and sensitivity in my undereye area was so painful. It didn’t cause redness or rash, but a horrible burning/stinging feeling like raw skin after a bad sunburn.Day 1-2: Upon application of the product, it definitely felt “warm”, and this subsided within about 20 min.Day 3: Noticable burning/stinging in undereye area when washing face/applying lotion. Once face was dry, I used undereye cream and it was “warm” again upon application for about 20 min.Day 4: STRONG BURNING in undereye area when washing face/applying lotion. Had to rinse off all products and didn’t even bother to put undereye cream on. I discontinued use immediately, and it took 1 week to heal and recover from sensitivity.I don’t know WHAT is in this that is so bad. I am believing it is something in the cream formulation. I say this because I have used the SERUM version of this with no problems (Olay Regenerist Retionol 24hr Serum). I also have used other retinols before (The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion) and undereye retinol creams (ROC Retinol Correction Eye Cream) with no problems.

Noticeable Improvement on eye elasticity, wrinkles, lines, moisture, dark circles, tired looking eyes within 2 days of use. Used 2x a day. Non greasy. If you have signs of aging eyes ,or dark circles that don’t go away no matter what you try, this is your answer.
