Very mild
I was trying to find a light, hydrating cleanser while Im using tretinoin. This one leaves my face less stiff than any other I’ve tried. No scent. But it does say not to use on “wounded” skin, which is what the tretinoin will probably do.

Gentle and Effective Gel
I have used this face for approximately two months and have really come to appreciate its presence in my face care routine. The scent is mild but pleasant. The texture is substantive but not too heavy to rinse easily. The wash makes your face feel invigorated and ready for a new day, or for overnight sleep. Feels rather luxurious. Perhaps the handsome packaging has something to do with that feeling? Regardless, the gel has been a good find for me!

This large bottle of face cleansing gel includes in its ingredients hyaluronic acid for hydration, houttuynia cordata extract and centella asiatica extract for soothing, and niacinamide for brightening. The gel when mixed with water produces a very light foam, and my face felt quite clean after use. This is a very mild gel and I did not feel that it provided the deeper cleansing I get with some other products I use and love, which tend to produce more foam and have exfoliating properties. This would be ideal for someone with very sensitive skin who needs a good basic cleanser that is especially gentle on the skin. Very little of the gel is needed to wash the face, and this will last a long time. It is priced quite fairly considering the quality of the ingredients.

It feels gentle on my skin and doesn’t strip away moisture or leave that tight feeling afterward. I have sensitive skin and this has worked really well for daily use.I use this in the morning and again at night after my makeup remover. It cleans my skin and calms it down. It foams just enough to make my face feel clean then rinses off cleanly. My skin feels soft and balanced every time I use it.The texture is a little runny, so I just pump a small amount into my hand and lather it gently then apply my hands to my face. A little goes a long way, and I expect this bottle is large enough to last a while. It’s become my regular cleanser because it’s so mild but it works.

Works well
Wife loves it and likes that it doesn’t burn her skin like many acne washes. It has a pleasant smell and has a light hydrating to it without feeling greasy or lotion-like.You get a fair amount when you only need a little, but I wish it were closer to the $5-8 of most face washes. Although it’s not egregiously expensive like some of them can get, so that’s not enough to knock off a star.

Very gentle, yet effective.
This cleanser is really a hidden gem. It’s extremely gentle, easily removes makeup and is scent free. The bottle is also a very generous size. I have rosacea so it’s always trial and error with new products to see if they’re going to irritate my face, but I think this cleanser has actually improved the texture of my skin. My face doesn’t feel stripped or dry after using it. Just clean and fresh. I’ve used it both in the shower and also with a disposable towel and it works great both ways. Some cleansers feel like they lather too much to use with a disposable towel, but this one provides just the right amount. I will definitely re-order this once the bottle is empty. At the time of my review the 10.14 oz bottle is listed for $11.98 which I think is more than fair!

It works well enough.
I wasn’t expecting it to be as thick as it is, but that’s not really a con. It’s not as foamy as my other facial cleansers, so it can be annoying to spread it on your entire face while washing. It’s very gentle on the skin, and it works well even for my sensitivity. It does a decent job at removing oil, but I’ve noticed that I sometimes have to do a twice over with this cleanser versus other brands where one wash is enough. It has a mild chemical smell, which I prefer to fragrances, and it does an OK job at keeping my face moisturized. Overall, it worked, but I don’t see myself ordering it again.
