Best Digest Enzymes
These plant based enzymes are very effective and excellent quality. Many people are not even aware that they would benefit from such digestive enzymes especially after a multi course meal.

VeganZyme: Advanced Enzyme Blend
I use VeganZyme on a regular basis. It is great! It works for me as it helps tremendously with my digestion. Unfortunately, this time it arrived damaged. The bottle was cracked up bad at the bottom. I did chat with customer service and they promised a refund (Amazon Gift Card). I will await it. Otherwise, Amazon is cool.:) I’m a long time customer and they are usually on point. This product belongs to Global Healing/Global Healing Center. Another great company/organization.

Works much better than Beano
I was a but suspicous this would work for me given that I’d tried anywhere from 2 to 8 tablets of beano with no apparent relief of symptoms – just gas. I’ve been “whole foods plant based” for over 6 years now and have had on and off issues with gas. Many beans and lentils, cruciferous veggies, Kale, collards, brocolli, etc. And garlic. My main source of protein is legumes, so I can’t take those out of my diet, and as for other veggies, I don’t want to give them up, at least not greens, which are the most healthy veggie you can eat, basically. Garlic is incredibly good for you as well, so sure, I could take much of these things out of my diet, but I think my health would suffer. But of course my stomach (and another part, lol) is suffering in the mean time! So I finally started looking for other options. Beano was first but again, didn’t seem to have ANY effect. Taking this Ultimate Enzymes seemed to really cut down on the gas. It hasn’t been as frequent, and when I do have it occasionally, it’s pretty minimal, whereas before, well, I often had a LOT each time, not fun! What I’ve found though is that this isn’t a magic pill, I still have to follow the recommendations in order to minimize gas, including eating slowly and chewing my food well. If I gulp stuff down and don’t prechew it much, I think the enzymes just are overloaded and can’t work as well. The other thing I’ve found, but I’m not sure how accurate this is, is that it helps to take these a little while before you start eating, so that they are in your system and ready to do their work once the food get there. If you take them after you eat or RIGHT before, I don’t think it’s as effective, but I’m still experimenting. I’ve been taking them twice per day for breakfast and lunch. For dinner I often eat things that won’t produce gas, so it’s not an issue for that meal.My one “complaint” is that it is pricey. If you are going to take it twice per day like I do, you’re talking about $50 per month for this, maybe a little less if you use subscribe and save. That’s like a few other supplements combined. I think it’s an ok price to pay to see if it works for you if others haven’t, and maybe see if you can go on 2 per day instead of 4, so that it will last for 2 months rather than 1?

Worth the Extra Money.
I have tried “lots” of digestive aids over the years and these are without a doubt the best!. I am done looking. I was hesitant at first because of the price but glad I tried them. This one product helps to digest any type of food. It is truly natural and members of my family with food allergiers can take these and like them also. I usually do not eat alot at each meal so I may take 1-2 with breakfast, 2-3 with lunch and 2-3 with supper – but I do get in my six a day. I base it on the amount of food. They help to keep us regular. I don’t feel bloated which I always though was from food that didn’t digest. I don’t feel that I need probiotics as often. I have found the “one” product that works for us and I purchase through Amazon because I trust them.

They are called “Ultimate Enzymes” now.
This product seems to be unavailable because Global healing has been rebranding a lot of its products. A product that seems very similar if not identical to this is listed on their website as “Ultimate Enzymes”These have been my holy grail for over a year now. I purchase these as if the doctor prescribed them. They’re the only thing that keeps my digestive health regulated and i recommend them x10.

Despite the broad enzyme spectrum, did not help with gas
As a plant based eater, I can really struggle with bloating, and especially gas from beans, legumes (like lentils and chickpeas) as well as raw vegetables (broccoli especially)…. but of course, these are essential for protein and health. Also as a 63 year old, understand that digestive enzymes can decrease with age. I was not having other digestive issues (thanks to a good probiotic and some psyllium fiber) so was looking for relief from the aforementioned. Sprung for this due to its’ broad spectrum coverage but has not been effective for the gas issue, despite the inclusion of Alpha-Galactosidase which is specific to gas. Some bloating relief and certainly can tell that it helps with good disgestion but for the price point will look elsewhere next time.
