I took off one star, because of all the warnings and caveats in the instruction manual, that were not made clear on the product page. All risks and caveats for a product should be made very explicit on the product page.Overall, after you’ve read through the risks and other paperwork, if this product suits your particular use case ( primarily those seem to be lighter skin, darker hair) then this type of product may work well for you. The packaging is extremely high quality, as is the product itself. Everything is put together well, smooth, easy controls, and no sharp edges or other unpleasantness.Easy charging. Protective eyewear included. So as long as you’ve read all the warnings, and are ok with them, the price is right for all the features this product provides. Can’t miss. Would order again

Didn’t do much for me
While this did seem to make my hair grow in a little bit thinner, it did not seem to actually stop growth completely after 8 weeks of use and I pretty much gave up on it after that. I do have fair skin and dark hair. It was not painful to use. I did switch to a much more expensive brand name hair removal device which did end up working for me.

Underwhelming
After using over a dozen IPL devices over the past few years, I found this one underwhelming. Even on the highest setting, the results were minimal, and the “cooling” feature barely registered. It’s bulky compared to higher-end models and doesn’t deliver the power or feel you’d expect. While it comes with helpful accessories and a user guide, the flashy product photos are misleading. Unless you’re getting it at a steep discount, it’s probably worth investing in a more effective model.

Pass, cheap machine
I’ve tested more than a dozen different IPL machines over the past 3-4 years. I have had professional laser removal years ago, I use these machines to keep up maintenance since there’s always a few hairs that return over time. Given the value and performance I would recommend passing on this machine. The photos are not realistic and most likely photoshopped. The machine has multiple settings but even on the highest setting the results are very marginal at best. With a hefty coupon, you get what you pay for. It’s bulky and not like other effective high end models.

A Good Buy for Most Body Parts
The Royalstar Laser Hair Removal device is well-made, quiet, and delivers noticeable heat even at the lowest setting, which gives me confidence in its effectiveness. However, I had to deduct a star because the instructions don’t match the listing. The product description claims “head-to-toe usage,” but the manual explicitly says not to use it on the head and a few other areas. As someone hoping to achieve a smooth, cueball look, this was frustrating. The Quick Start Guide also adds to the confusion with a female face diagram suggesting limited use. Last time I check, my face was on my “Head”. Despite the inconsistency, the packaging is great, and the price is solid. I’ll update the review in a few months with my results since removal isn’t instant and it does require maintenance! Not for everyone!
3.5 ✨This device is not for those with dark skin. If your complexion is not in the fair to medium range, stay away. The laser targets pigment. Therefore, it works on dark hair (it will not remove light hair). As far as pain goes, my threshold is high. There’s a potential for actually damaging your skin (burning) if used incorrectly, so exercise caution and be sure to read and understand the instructions.

First time user here, zero experience. Hoping it works, as per less hair; hair being one in tried areas. guess time will tell on this. Have waited 10 days to review… But also, not sure this is working. Light and feel isn’t as expected. Almost none at all- both light and feel. Really not seeing the cool blast effect either. Not sure this one is working correctly. Will keep trying. Maybe can find sma friend or something that knows. Doesn’t seem it should be difficult to use. Comes with a disposable razor to help with pre shaving and sunglasses. As well as a cloth and cord. And a good visual guide.
